The Terrific 12 2019 was held September 17 to 22 at Macao’s Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavilion.

The FIBA-recognized tournament hosted 12 of Asia’s top teams:

China CBA – Liaoning Flying Leopards, Shenzhen Aviators and Zhejiang Guangsha Lions
Japan B.LEAGUE – Chiba Jets, Niigata Albirex BB, Ryukyu Golden Kings and Utsunomiya BREX
Korea KBL – KCC Egis and Seoul SK Knights
Philippine PBA – Blackwater Elite, San Miguel Beermen and TNT KaTropa
A group stage, where clubs were divided into four groups of three, semi-finals and finals played out across 16 epic games to crown a champion.

Each team brought their biggest domestic stars, such as Hu Jinqiu (Zhejiang Guangsha Lions), Yuki Togashi (Chiba Jets), Kim Sunhyung (Seoul SK Knights), Terrence Romeo (San Miguel Beermen) and many more. Teams included two foreign import players.

Liaoning beat the Knights in a 83-82 nail-biter to win it all. Liaoning star import and former NBA player, Lance Stephenson, was named the MVP of The Terrific 12 2019 Finals game, finishing with a team-high 34 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions won the third-place playoff, beating the San Miguel Beermen 91-89.
